The Former Councillors Forum of Katsina State heartily commends the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umar Radda, PhD, for his exemplary leadership, steadfast commitment to good governance, and visible strides in advancing the welfare and security of the people of the state.

Since assuming office, Governor Radda has demonstrated uncommon clarity of purpose, anchoring governance on accountability, fiscal discipline, and inclusive development. His administration’s focus on strengthening institutions, revitalising the economy, improving internally generated revenue, and prioritising critical sectors such as security, education, healthcare, agriculture, and infrastructure reflects a deep understanding of the needs of grassroots communities.

As former councillors who served at the closest tier of government to the people, we particularly appreciate the Governor’s emphasis on community engagement and local impact. The deliberate efforts to restore public confidence in governance, support local initiatives, and promote peace and social cohesion resonate strongly with the aspirations of our people.

The Forum also acknowledges the Governor’s calm but decisive approach to leadership, one that values consultation, evidence-based policy, and sustainable solutions over noise and short-term gestures. These qualities are steadily yielding measurable outcomes and laying a solid foundation for long-term progress in Katsina State.

We reaffirm our support for Governor Dikko Umar Radda, PhD, and urge all stakeholders to continue partnering with his administration in the collective task of building a safer, more prosperous, and more united Katsina State.
